Together with Klaus Botzet, envoy from the German embassy in Bogotá, Colombia , we will talk about perspectives for the transatlantic relationship on Friday, March 12th , 2021 at 8 p.m. CET.

Before his current role as envoy to Colombia, as head of the political department of the EU delegation in Washington and as head of division for relations with the USA and Canada in the Foreign Office, Botzet actively accompanied the Obama administration and the beginning of the Trump years.

Following a short lecture by Mr. Botzet on a wide range of current topics , there will be sufficient opportunities to ask individual questions about political processes in the USA, South America, current foreign policy and the work in the Federal Foreign Office .
