Muhammad A. Tariq


Junior Research Fellow

Muhammad Abdullah is a 23-year-old from Pakistan. He is a 4th-year student of Government and Public Policy at the National Defence University, Islamabad. He is currently serving as the elected President of the Student Council at the University for 2023-24. He has also served as a department representative. He has worked as an ambassador of the Anti-Norcotics Force at the University. He represented the department in a conference of the United Nations Office of Drugs on Crime. Today one of the biggest international issues is Climate change, and many countries around the globe are affected by it. To create positive change, he has served as the Secretary and Communication Head of the Green Youth Movement club and worked under the “Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme” for 2021-22 at the university. He has also worked as an intern at the National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (NEECA) Islamabad. To bring positive change and development he has worked in HHRD (a US-based NGO) under the youth empowerment programme as a liaison head for 2023-24. His main purpose is to work on sustainable policies which has become inevitable for developing countries specifically.
