Sophie Schirmer, born in 1999, is a student of sociology at the Technical University of Dresden. In addition to her studies, Sophie works as a research assistant in the Saxon State parliament with a focus on health policy in the Saxon state parliament. She is also the state executive director of the Evangelical Working Group of the CDU state association of Saxony. At EPIS, she is involved in a project on the role of the church in modern society.
