Marion Cordebart is an honours student at the University of Amsterdam, studying Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics. Majoring in Economics, her interests lie in the impacts of economics on diplomacy and international politics, as well as the role of culture in global affairs. She is also interested in the ethical application of AI in economics and security for which she published in the Review of European and Transatlantic Affairs ‘Bridging the Divide: Ethical AI and Transatlantic Cooperation’ in the Review of European and Transatlantic Affairs and ‘EU-US Border Control: Collaboration for AI Biometric Data Sharing’ with the Trans-European Policy studies association (TEPSA). Alongside her academic work, she is treasurer of the Talent Development Programme, a foundation aiming to provide students the capacity for learning, curiosity, and discovery.
