Carl Johan Steninge-Otto is currently an Officer Cadet in the Royal Danish Army. In 2024, he finished his M.A. in International Affairs with a security concentration (Hertie School), specializing in defence policy and conflict studies, with a strong quantitative focus, which complemented an international political economy-oriented B.Sc. in International Business & Politics (Copenhagen Business School). During his master's studies, he gained experience interning at the European Union's DG INTPA and as an analyst at a Berlin-based company promoting transatlantic foreign direct investment. Outside of his studies, he enjoys studying military policy, strategy, and history.
