Leonie, a third-year European Studies student at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, is very enthusiastic about the European Union (EU), particularly its enlargement process. Her passion for EU affairs is complemented by her keen interest in Eurasia and East Asia, which she developed during her enriching study visits to Russia in 2017 and South Korea 2023.
