Recent Publications
Leonie holds a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University and is currently pursuing an MA in the joint Erasmus Mundus program European Politics and Society at Charles University and Jagiellonian University. In addition to her studies, she actively participates in the Young European Ambassador program and serves as the vice-coordinator of the EU-Moldova Dialogue Initiative. Her international experiences, including time spent in Russia, South Korea, and the Czech Republic, have fostered a deep interest in cross-cultural exchange. Leonie’s research focuses on the EU’s external relations, EU enlargement, and democratization in post-communist states, with a particular emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, the Western Balkans, and Central Asia.
