Garance Charles-Gardeur is a Franco-German law student at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Cologne. Trilingual in French, German, and English, she has gained experience across legal, governmental, and consulting sectors, including internships at the Institut des Hautes Études du Ministère de l’Intérieur (IHEMI) and Consors Intelligence. She has also engaged in dialogue with international NGOs such as the Responsible Mica Initiative and Friendship, deepening her understanding of corporate responsibility and human rights advocacy. Her undergraduate thesis, written in German, examined the challenges of diverging duty of care laws in supply chains in France and Germany, and the role of EU legislation in fostering harmonisation. Her academic and professional trajectory reflects a strong interest in criminology, public security, and the protection of human rights.
