Ella currently studies BA International Studies at Leiden University, with a specialisation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Through her studies, she has gained both a global and regional perspective of economics, politics, history, and culture. Ella’s interests centre around human rights in the MENA and China’s increasingly dominant role in the region.
