Marika Linntam studied law at the University of Tartu, European law at the University of Trier, and earned a master’s degree from the University of Rennes 1. Joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001, she held key positions, including leading the European Law Division and representing Estonia at the European Court of Justice. From 2018 to 2023, she served as Director General of the European Affairs Department. She has been appointed Estonia‘s Ambassador to Germany on September 27, 2023.
